Series 1 contains the first 250 cards of the 2024-25 Upper Deck Base Set. The annual Upper Deck Base Set is the most collected base set in hockey. It contains 198 veteran cards, 49 Young Guns® rookie cards and three checklist cards. The iconic Young Guns® are the most anticipated rookie cards of the season.

A long-time favorite among collectors, UD Canvas® features a collection of the League's top stars along with the best Young Guns®. Series 1 includes the first 120 cards of this in-series set.
Collect an average of four (4) UD Canvas® cards per box, and look for black and white parallels as well as printing plates of all 120 cards.

The acetate Population Count Insert is back! There are seven different print runs (1000, 500, 100, 50, 25, 10, and 1) of this popular in-series set that mimics slabbed cards and features high-profile stars and rookies. Everyone will be chasing the low-print versions! The last 30 cards of this set will be available in Series 2.

The Dazzlers set also returns for another season! These eye-catching cards feature a new design for the 2024-25 season and come in both blue and pink. Dazzlers is an in-series set of 150 cards, and Series 1 contains the first 50 cards. The checklist is mostly star veterans, but there are a few rookies in there too!

New Inserts (and UD Portraits™)! From artfully designed, historical Young Guns® cards to hologram cards, Series 1 offers an impressive selection of new insert sets:

• Aimbot: Each map features one of the league's top scorers shooting at goal, with targets showing the opening(s) the player sees before shooting.
• Checkpoint: This set celebrates grinders and the checking aspect of the game.
  City Satellites: The checklist consists entirely of Superstars. Each card features a fold-out full-body action shot of the player with a satellite view of their home city in the background.
• UD Portraits™: Not only does the theme of this ever-popular set get refreshed each season, but so does the paper in the 2024-25 edition. Series 1 contains the first 30 cards (all veteran stars) of this in-series set. Collectors can complete their 2024-25 UD Portraits™ set with Series 2, which includes the rookie versions!
  All four inserts are printed on foilboard and there are speckle, black, red (#'d to 99) and gold (#'d to 10) parallels of each!
  Collect an average of eight (8) cards from this group per box!
• A-Lines: Each card features all three front-row players from all 32 teams.
• Breaking News: This set celebrates the most important moments of the 2023-24 season. Each card includes a short description of the moment and an image from the game in which the moment occurred.
  Both sets are printed on beautiful, glossy foil card.
  Collect an average of three (3) A-Lines and/or Breaking News cards per box, and look for printing plates from both sets!
  Also collect red Parallels from both sets, each with only 99 numbers!

Young Guns Renewed: Each card in this set is a replica of a previous Young Guns® card, but with a twist: Each card features original artwork by Luke the Cardist. Series 1 will feature notable Young Guns® through the 2013-14 season.
Collect an average of three (3) Young Guns Renewed cards per box and look for the exclusive (#'d to 100) and high gloss (#'d to 10) Parallels as well as the Printing Plates!

Gaming: Series 1 features a 100-card gaming-themed insert, split into four 25-card sets: Gaming Co-Op (two teammates and four categories compared), Gaming FOV (a single player pictured from behind so you can see their "field of view"), Gaming PVP (two players from different teams - one in the home jersey, the other in the away jersey - simulated to compete against each other), and Gaming XP (shows each player's "experience level").
All four subsets are printed on foil cardstock, and there are parallels in speckle, blue, green (with 199 numbers) and gold (with 25 numbers) of each.
Each box contains an average of six (6) regular cards and one (1) parallel of Speckle!

Holotypes: The hologram cards are back! Holotypes is a living set (no player will repeat) that will be a staple of Series 1 for seasons to come. These rare cards are surefire hits!
